Hello, my name is Alexander Donnelly, and I’m looking to go into a homestay family for my third year at university.

I’m originally from Nelson and I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Screen Arts with Honours, majoring in Game Development, which ties into my passion for creating immersive stories and experiences in video games.

I’m fairly quiet but enjoy participating in all sorts of activities, especially when they involve exploring nature or connecting with others.

For my studies, I tend to go into university to work/study roughly 2-4 days a week, depending on my lecture and project timetables, but I will otherwise quietly work from home on my own computer.

Outside of my studies, I work as an English tutor for Numberworks'n'Words in Karori, teaching children from age 5 through to the end of high school. I am also dedicated to karate, which I've been doing for just over a decade now, and I am currently training for the Karate World Championship in Finland next year.
